1. Information we collect
When you sign up we collect your email; your password is stored as a one-way hash (bcrypt) we cannot reverse. We also store the brands, monitored prompts and related data you create while using the product.
2. How we handle IP addresses (pseudonymisation)
When you run an AI-visibility “checkup”, your source IP is pseudonymised via HMAC — used only for abuse prevention and rate limiting, never published, and not used to directly identify you. Checkup results are approximate estimates.
3. How we use information
To provide and improve the service: authentication, generating visibility scores and trends, billing, security and abuse prevention, and communicating with you where you have agreed.
4. Cookies
We use a small set of essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a language cookie (lang) to remember your Chinese/English interface choice.
5. Third-party services
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe, and payment details are held by Stripe under its own privacy policy; visibility scores rely on third-party AI models’ output.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (e.g. password hashing, tenant-isolated access). No system, however, can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct or delete your personal data and close your account. Submit requests to hello@orca-scope.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
